Listen again here:

For no reason whatsoever we’ve done a one-off Birder’s Twitter from French France.

DDL drove a car onto a train, having nearly expired Jonny R in a road traffic accident. We speak live from a salubrious hotel room.

We congratulate Jonny H on wedding an actual, nice lady.

DDL makes an horrendous seagull based Dad joke.

DDL regales us with tales of Bulgarian bird watching with some ‘friends’ and pretends he’s seen Syrian birds in Bulgaria.

Jonny R is reminded of the time DDL didn’t show him Crab Plover.

DDL has a vocalisations list. There’s no end to this geekiness.

Jonny R has shown DDL a Honey Buzzard. Stunning really…

Jonny H saunters in 15 mins late. Nice of him to grace us with his presence really. He’s changed since he married an actual, real lady.

Jonny H got married and had a tombola, then found an Icterine Warbler then lovingly looked at Ring-necked Duck, singing Red-breasted Fly and Red-necked Phal. Then came home via a Bridled Tern.

Jonny R gatecrashed Jonny H’s family holiday to Mallorca and is available to crash other people’s holiday. Big lifers; Thekla’s Lark and Moustached Warbler.

DDL and Jonny R are live from a Country called France. No British birders bird France - but we are showing that it really is possible.

Jonny H accuses Jonny R and DDL of being noisy.

Jonny H is suddenly the grammar police.

There is thing called the channel tunnel - worth checking out.

Jonny H tells us about the inter-crew wars on Shetland, it’s all shanking and photographing birds before people and that.

DDL is looking for a new life partner. Do you have an attractive uncle? Is so, DM DDL.

Jonny H updates us on rough weather in Iceland and the far north, returning waders and breeding birds on Shetland.

Jonny R drops part remembered Aquatic Warbler stats - which is pretty impressive.

Corporate whore DDL is going to Birdfair. Jonny H and Jonny R will be in attendance at Migfest.

Listen again to the episode here:

Finally, do you have any friends? Could you and them do #BirdersTwitter ? If so, let us know - we'll hand you the reigns. I mean, it's highly likely you'll be able to do a better job, almost a dead certainty...
