The entire Birder's Twitter team - in the same place - at the same time!
Migfest special! The recording quality of this episode is terrible, added to which we talk over each other and we are outside. This episode is really only for the most dedicated/ deranged Birder’s Twitter fans. Listen again here:
All three of your Birder’s Twitter hosts are in attendance; DDL, Jonny R and 'Jonny H'.
We talk about that Great Shearwater:
Mark Cocker is the new patron of Spurn Birds Obs! Wahey! Hopefully Mark will be better than the last patron Mike Dilger - who was shit.
We enjoy two Spoonbills - live on air!
DDL found the calidris in Kilnsea. Allegedly. We talk bird ID and why Jonny R is so good at sea-watching. Jonny H recalls the last Great Auk he saw.
Jonny R did the point for the first time and enjoyed it.
We explain the magic of Migfest. Explaining why it differs to other birding events, such as the soulless corporate machine that is Birdfair which we do not endorse. Birder's Twitter fully endorse Migfest!
It appears DDL went to Sweden recently - he hardly mentions it.
'Jonny H' claims to have seen a migrating Egyptian Goose in Sweden:

Migrating Egyptian Goose © Jonnie Fisk - taken at that there Falsterbo
We shout-out @AlfieBirder and @LiaKajiki
Big time shout-out @cgalvinphoto and the ladies of Spurn - without who Jonny R would be hospitalised through sunburn and malnutritioned.
@TimsBirding has a car - with a horn. Jonny H shouts out Jonny H
Purchasing and wearing a UK 250 pin badge actively improves you as a person, sexually and spiritually. Owing to frankly exceptional business acumen - we sold no UK 250 pin badges at Migfest. Like not one. Feel free to go over to UK Birding Pins for your UK 250 mercy requirements.
