Nina and I are putting a bar into our new garage and wondered if #BirdersTwitter could help name it? We started off with sensible ideas like the Typsie Tystie, the Yellow-browed Bunt-inn and Ful-bar but rapidly descended into Shag-inn and the Tits and Boobies bar. Obviously the Stoned-Chat is the smoking area. Any suggestions welcome. Happy Birding!!

DDL suggests Flocking Twite or Fat Hippolais as a bar name. Of the above I feel it's a tie between 'The Roséfinch' and The Sick Duck Arms - both powerful choices. So powerful.

Ol’ UAE White-cheeks joins the call and shouts about stuff.

Jonny R has dropped the first of a series of UAE blogs - which DDL will be pleasantly upset by.

Jonny H confuses birders called Hughes and wildly offends friends of the show.

We welcome James Cutting to the call - to chat #WaderWednesday and Birda app. All guests on #BirdersTwitter nervously perspire.

James is a birder, ringer, conservationist from the south coast. With a wader/ shorebird love - which inspired #WaderWednesday

James shouts out David Steel - friend of the show and all-round legend - host of #SuperSeabirdSunday

James introduces the Birda App for which he is an ambassador. Birda includes a social element - like ‘Strava for birders’. You can also do challenges and badges - a great way to introduce birding newbies or youngsters to the joys of birding. Righteous.

Darth Wader is a badge you can achieve on Birda and our man Nick Baker wears the t-shirt!

DDL persists in chatting White-cheeked Tern and re-visits the golf course Jonny R took him to earlier in the year. As well as local pipit fields and as an early European Roller. DDL saw a Black-headed Gull.

Jonny H has patched as normal, with plenty hirundines including juvenile Sand Martin, Stock Dove and is stimulated by national news. Including the mad Cory’s fest in the SW and Ireland.

DDL rudely shouts godwit - from which we surmise he might be talking about the Shetland Hudsonian.

Jonny H has had 2nd record of Treecreeper for garden and Gropper singing still.

DDL kills a bird live on air. DDL enjoys killing birds globally. Which no one saw coming.
