DDL and Jonny slide onto the call seamlessly. Jonny R isn’t scared of his Mum and is 8 minutes late for dinner. What. A. Bad. Lad.
Jonny H has been wafting about Spurn. Seeing 95 species. Highlights included; Firecrest and Ring Ouzel.

Spurn has had a pulse of Robin’s - potentially continental birds heading north. Which Jonny H has enjoyed.
Jonny H had a monster Spurn find via Green Woodpecker. With as few as 15 records!
Other Spurn highlights for Jonny H included; Shore Lark, Black Redstart, Scaup, Black Brant, Redstart, Yellow Wagtail and first Whimbrel of the year.
DDL has been UAE and U.K. side with; Marsh Harrier and Redstart at Waltamstow Wetlands. As well as adding Redstart, Ortolan Bunting to his UAE patch list and 111 Pied Wheatear across the last couple months. Although Tern numbers are down. At Minsmere DDL and co have had Firecrest, Water Pipit and Goosander.
Jonny R has been up in Scotland! Wahey! Which is a long way away.
Jonny R is live from the favoured coconuts of a Yellow-rumped Warbler.
We shoutout @BWWC1 @IoloWilliams2 @bugboybaker @macstronach
Jonny R has been subject to a concerted bullying campaign - all related to his love of goose.
There was a couple of thousand Pink-foot in Speyside. Ring Ouzel we’re back in Strathedern along with 3 x Golden Eagle and Osprey.
Jonny R reminisces about volunteering at Loch Insh including; a shrike’s larder, running from wolves and fashioning some feather pants.
We shoutout listeners @alantilmouth @Ochruros @dawn_mission
Friend of the show Chris Townsend aka Wise Birding found a Lesser Yellowlegs:
There’s two Night Heron’s near Jonny H.
The two Jonny’s talk mad Fulmer sightings. Including the Loch Leven Fulmer which used to breed nine miles inland on inland crags above the loch.
Wakefield record by Pete Smith - flying down the road and under a road bridge!
DDL has had one along the Thames. We talk inland auk records.
Ian tells us what it’s like to find an Alpine Swift whilst weeding. Which is next level. Ian’s second best house tick is Hawfinch. Which is monstrous for Hemel Hempstead and is 93 species up for the house.
Birders Twitter might not be axed - like Autumn Watch. Does that mean Birders Twitter is better than Autumn Watch?
We do predictions for the week then all go downstairs for dinner.
