Nick Moran and Jonny R host Live from Deepdale Backpackers on the second day of Tern the Tide.

Jonny H joins us from Spurn and DDL is in the bath.
Jonny R is more articulate than normal despite having covered 54 miles in the preceding 24 hours.
Patreon subscribers can get the accompanying video feed of DDL’s bath time. If for some reason you’d want to see that. DDL conducts an organised flush and other bathroom based Dad jokes...
We celebrate the time Jonny R found a Ring Ouzel from the Crown at Spurn. Jonny H has been watching quartering Hen Harrier and waders on the Humber.
Wood Woodlark and Wood Woodcock are celebrated.
Nick and Jonny R are fed and watered by Andy Clements (former BTO CEO) and Miranda. For which they remain appreciative.
DDL twitches Taiga Beans in the Norfolk Broads. He loves wildfowl so much:
DDL is guiding walks in Vicky Park again, making punters happy via Red-crested Pochard. All 20 punters attended having heard about DDL’s bird walk on Birders Twitter.
If you want a bit of DDL action, your next chance is Sunday 12th March Vicky Park - to see DDL’s Red-crested Pochard.
If you'd prefer the Jonny H touch, then Bentley Community Woodland walks are available. Meet at the end of the Avenue, Bentley, to potentially see Willow Tit and Green Woodpeckers. Then in May you could join a Dawn Chorus walk at Kiveton:

Nick reveals the Birds of Tern the Tide. Initially in hyper-speed. Then at normal pace. With highlights including; Woodlarks, Marsh Tit, Barn Owl, Grey Partridge, Pink-footed Geese, Marsh Harrier, Bullfinch and Linnet - the latter two took 30+ miles of walking through Norfolk to fall!
We celebrate Sunk Island - Mugimaki Flycatcher and the late Great John Ward. Thanks to Nathan Pickering for having our back...
Jonny and Nick have seen Emma Turner’s hut.
DDL offers bathroom based bird noise practice - toilet location and prices to follow and there’s a Black-throated Thrush in Yorkshire:
Having assisted DDL over in the UAE, Jonny R is now assisting Nick with his Scolt Head patch. So giving and generous with his expertise. Stunning, simply stunning.
Nick and Jonny learn about Markham's Storm Petrel c/o Andy and Miranda - an Atacama Desert nesting petrel, breeding miles away from the sea. Mind blown:
Shout out to Drew for compromising his own personal safety in support of Birders Twitter, that's the sort of dedication we expect:
We admire Rob's slipper based shoe choice:
Rob Hunton makes Rock Bunting demands - so Jonny H has to up his Spurn game. Immediately.
Finally, DDL’s shows off with Shore Lark recordings:
Another bumper episode! Don't forget to support Tern the Tide and we might #BirdersTwitter again next week. Or will we?
