Buff-breasted Sandpiper - St Agnes - 07th October
Last day for another year. The third consecutive year I've stayed on Agnes. I hope I am able to stay for the next 30 years in a row. I think everyone is in agreement on that.
Anyway, the Buff-breasted Sandpiper is an absolute gem. Real star of the show - it was a jewel in the Agnes crown every day of our stay. Proper star:

The other star of the show was the Yellow-browed Warbler, initially picked up on call by Rob Sunday evening. We then saw it all week, apart from the Thursday when it was a bit blustery. What a beaut:

I am guilty of over-looking the White Wags in the bays and about the isle. Which is a shame, because they lit AF:

Saw my first grounded Siskin of the trip too - birds feeding on the deck with Siskin down the bulb dump.

So, for some reason - despite the exquisite seabird pictures I managed to take on the outward Scillonian Crossing, all my shearwater paps on the way back were absolute toilet. On the upside - I got a relatively in-focus snap of two Puffin:

Here's a helpful list of birds we saw on the crossing, recored by me on Matt's eBird account, Matt's phone and by Matt, through the power of telekinesis. I will copy these later - like how I got GCSE math:

Till next year, I love you Aggie, like a massive island sized sister with loads of birds on it.
